|For epiphone firebird,
Bought a generic bass case because it fit some gibson firebird reissue, it did not fit. If you have an epiphone firebird, this is the case, it fits like a glove.

|Gibson Firebird owners – be aware that…,
This case is an excellent deal, price is great, quality is very good – however, I own a Gibson Firebird with ‘banjo’ tuning keys and it will NOT work with this case. This is meant only for the Epiphone Firebirds which have the ‘Fender-style’ 6-in-a-row tuning keys, NOT the Gibson keys which stick out from the headstock in the back. I was looking forward to the lighter weight of this case, compared to the very heavy Gibson one. Oh well… George
