Treat oneself to the sound plus feel of the classic guitar without the classic price, with all the Epiphone Dot Studio semi-hollowbody electrical guitar! It’s based found on the famous ES-335 – we learn, the 1 that’s been played by icons like Larry Carlton, BB King, plus Eric Johnson. The sound of the Dot Studio is broad ranging – there are smooth overdriven tones for blues, bright clean tones with chime for nation, or full-on screaming leads whenever we hit a amplifier full-force with all the Alnico Classic pickups. And regardless what fashion of music we play, you’ll love the extended, singing sustain (because of the mahogany body), as well as the warm resonant tone which only sounds more “lifelike” than solidbody guitars. From the initial note we choose, you’ll recognize which Epiphone’s Dot Studio semi-hollowbody electrical guitar is anything unique!

More Bang for the Bucks.,
This is a very basic member of a classic and popular series. This model just changed. It upgraded from a worn dull finish with black hardware. It’s a high gloss cherry finish with perfect wide black binding, Add the chrome bridge and stopbar tailpiece and chrome Grover tuners and it’s very nice looking for a basic model guitar. It also comes in gloss vintage black/yellow sunburst. It’s a simple, well made guitar. It was set up nicely and even came with good strings. The alnico classic humbuckers sound great for my needs. Remember, it only has one tone knob, one volume knob and a 3 way pickup switch. If all you need is a nice smooth playing, tried and true, semi-hollow guitar with simple controls, this is the baby. The lifetime warranty doesn’t hurt, either. This cheaper option let me buy a case, too. You can pick up a pickguard for these for really cheap if you need one. Because it shares it’s design with the Gibson and Epiphone 335 style guitars, you can find many ways to upgrade this guitar if you outgrow it’s features. Very nice to play ,great sounding and I’m very happy. It’s funny that it’s a Dot with no dots, but the side dots suit me just fine and it’s kind of a cool clean look. This is my first electric guitar and I think I did very well for my budget.
