Stop Reading and Buy This Guitar, August 21, 2011
    By

This review is from: Epiphone LP-100 Les Paul Electric Guitar, Vintage Sunburst (Electronics)

Let me start off by saying, I have been playing for 4-5 years, self taught, and I consider myself an intermediate-advanced player. I play blues, metal, classic rock, as well as hard rock (Black Stone Cherry, etc.) I own a very beginner amp because I am so intelligent that I spent all my money on the guitars and very little on an amp- probably going to get a Line 6 or something.

I bought this guitar for the same price at Ken Stanton Music (great service, by the way). I could not be more pleased. I believe that the Greek Muses dropped this guitar from the heavens, and placed it in that store for me to pick up and play. It shreds like a monster, yet croons beautifully- try playing Santana on this puppy. You’ll be needing tissues. It works with all styles.
Also, don’t worry about damaging this thing. I whacked it real hard on accident and was afraid to look. Not a scratch.

So let’s go through the pro’s and cons:

    Pros:
    Plays like a dream
    Durable
    Versatile
    Beautiful

    Cons:
It’s awful hard to fit a wedding ring on her.

Wait, are you still reading? Well, stop it. And buy this axe.

This is my son’s 2nd guitar, moving up from a basic model I got him a year ago. He chose this model because he wanted a Les Paul model. As soon as it arrived he was really impressed with its sound and quality. The product finish looks and feels of very high quality. We think this is a great choice for beginners. Recommend it 100%.

I purchased this guitar for my husband. He is self-taught on an acoustic guitar and wanted to try out an electric model. This has been the best gift ever. He has improved his playing and really enjoys what the guitar has to offer. The sound is great, it looks like a more expensive model than it is. I would highly recommend this guitar.
